The purpose of our school bulletin is to make sure parents are as informed as possible about updates within our school community. Our school community includes students, families, the school itself, the District and even the City of New York! You are strongly encouraged to review these once monthly newsletters and letters to stay informed.

The chancellor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department as well as responsible for all New York City public schools. MCNDHS is a school that puts great care into its daily life through engaging learning experiences, social enrichments, sports and academics. We are proud of our school community and want every member to be included, celebrated and have any supports or needs they have to be met easily and accessibly.
Successful school community engagement and parent leadership relies on strong communication. Please help us in this task by remaining enrolled in our text services and please read our email (and consider marking our emails as important to receive alerts!).
How is information distributed at MCNDHS?
The contact information you have provided to the school at enrollment is used for regular correspondence. If your email, phone number or address changes tell your students Guidance Counselor. They will update your contact information.
What does communication look like?
School Newsletters & Chancellors Letters are emailed once a month.
Family Resources, Events, Survey's and Applications are emailed & texted as they arrive.
Important information with Deadlines are structured in the following way:
Email + Text alerting that Email was sent.
Text within 1-5 days reminding of deadline.
Text Day of Deadline.
