I studied at MCNDHS from 2008 to 2011. I am indebted to many teachers and counselors, with whose help I applied and was accepted by Barnard College, as well as Albert Shanker Scholarship, and Scholarship Plus, which would make going to college possible. I am graduating this May with a major in Physics, and have been awarded Henry A. Boorse Prize and Grace Potter Ricer Fellowship for having a record in physics that shows most promise of distinction in a scientific career. I was accepted to pursue a Ph. D. degree in Applied Physics/Applied Math at Harvard. Besides the academics, I volunteered to teach documentary filmmaking at Cape Town and interned as a reporter at WNYC.
