I attended Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day High School from 2005-2007. I am originally from Senegal. I came to the United States to further my education and for the pursuit of a better life. MNDHS instilled in me confidence, leadership skills and team work. One of my English professors, Mr Ross, pushed me to be better in his class. He is the reason why I passed my English regents with flying colors. From the CDI staff to the school’ s staff the environment was a great. It made me want to push myself everyday because teachers wanted the best for us.

Upon Graduation, I started college at New York City College of Technology where I pursued a degree in telecommunications engineering technology with a focus in wireless communications. Throughout my four years in college CDI and Margaret were a great help to my success. Margaret helped me with both legal matters and school matters: she is the BEST. After graduation I got a job as a network engineer and analyst. I got my first job with a company called BCMONE. There I got to learn new technologies and be part of a team where we each helped the other figure out hard problems.

It was a pleasure to attend MCNDHS because it opened doors and opportunities for me. I hope many more to come.
