While attending BMCC I have been a leader with the Strive for Success program helping MCNDHS alumni adjust to their first year in College. Currently I am finishing up this semester at BMCC and am heading to Buffalo State College to finish up my bachelors degree. I am a Criminal Justice major with a concentration in intelligence analysis. I will soon begin a process where I will ultimately be cleared to intern for the FBI for an alternative semester or summer. I hope to have a career within a government organization and be a field agent after graduation.
On another note, during spring break I along with a few other college students were selectively chosen to be flown out to New Orleans and work directly with Habitat for Humanity in aiding relief efforts from Hurricane Katrina. Till this day there is still a lot of work that needs to be done in New Orleans. There have been many wonderful opportunities and wonderful things that have happened since graduation from MCNDHS but that is not what I want to focus on.
For all incoming and current MCNDHS students you must take advantage of the opportunities the school has to offer. I can honestly say that if i did not take advantage my life would have been different. There is a life after MCNDHS, a wonderful life, full of hard work and meaningfulness. This can only happen if you take ADVANTAGE of it . It won’t be easy but you can definitely do it and I can guarantee you that MCNDHS and CDI will be with you every step of the way. As they are with me, till this very day.
